Submission information for some computer journals and magazines

1. The core of "Computer Engineering and Design" and "Computer Applications and Software" are relatively better.

2. National first-class journal of "Computer Application Research", core, with a 60% recruitment rate, and quick notification.

Author's Note: The following materials are the requirements of the US "Engineering Index" for the writing of English abstracts in source journals.1997It has been circulated in the year.2000Year8When I visited the American Engineering Information Company in Month and handed it to the relevant person in charge of the headquarters for consultation, I replied: This material is still applicable. Now reprint for reference when writing an English abstract.

The abstract is a representative of the original document; it provides the information content of the original document, but cannot replace the original document (i.e., the document once), because its content has been greatly simplified.
The abstract itself gives readers a message, namely the main concepts and main issues discussed in the abstract, helping technicians decide whether the document is useful for their work.
United States "Engineering Index"(The Engineering Index)It is one of the most famous and largest search publications in the world. C1 Types of abstracts (Type of Abstracts）

By the editorial department of the United States Engineering Information Company (EiThe classification of the editorial department is divided into informational abstracts and indicative abstracts, or a combination of the two.

Informational Abstract(Information Abstracts) It generally includes an outline of some important contents of the original document, mainly consisting of the following three parts.
—— Purpose: It mainly explains the purpose of the author writing this article, or explains the main problems that this article needs to be solved.
—— Process and methods mainly explain the author's main working process and the methods used, and also includes numerous boundary conditions, the main equipment and instruments used.
—— Results The final results and conclusions obtained by the author during this work process; if possible, try to mention the scope and application of the results and conclusions obtained by the author.
Informational abstracts are mostly used in articles in science and technology magazines or science and technology journals, and are also used in conference papers and various special technical reports in conference proceedings.

Indicative abstract(Indicated Abstracts) Only the comprehensive content of the literature is pointed out, and it is suitable for review documents, book introductions, and edited and processed monographs. The most common review literature is the comprehensive development of a certain technology in a certain period; or the current development level of a certain technology, as well as future prospects. In short, this kind of literature is a review of the situation rather than a research process of a certain technology, a certain product or a certain equipment. In general, informational abstracts account for the vast majority of the proportion.

C2 Digest length(Length of the Abstracts)

The length of the dictionary is generally not more than150 words, no less than100 words;In rare cases, exceptions may be made depending on the original text, but the subject concept must not be omitted. According to statistics, if the digest written based on the above three parts is generally not less than100 words. In addition, writing, translating or proofreading of abstracts may not be subject to the original abstract.
The general method of shortening the abstract is as follows:

　（1) Cancel unnecessary sentences:
like"It is reported…","Extensive investigations show that …", "The author disusses…", "This paper concerned with…"
　（2) The physical units and some common words can be appropriately simplified;
　（3) Cancel or reduce background situation(Background Information)；
　（4) Restricted abstracts only represent new situations and new content, and past research details can be cancelled;
　（5) Don't talk nonsense, like"The research work discussed in this article is a great improvement to the old craftsmanship in the past"Never enter the digest;
　（6) The future plans mentioned by the author in the abstract are not included in the abstract;
　（7) Try to simplify some wording and repetition units, such as:

　（2) The sentence structure is rigorous and complete, try to use short sentences.
　（3) Try to use common standards in the engineering field as much as possible.
　（4) Use the past tense to describe the author's work, and use the present tense to describe the author's conclusions.

　（14) Delete the complexity and keep it simple.

　（15) When the abstract involves the work or research results of others, try to list their names.
　（16) The spelling of words in the excerpts can be done in English and American spelling; but each article should be consistent.
　（17) The first word at the beginning of the English title shall not be usedThe, And, AnandA.
　（18) Try to use abbreviations as little as possible in the title, and if necessary, you must also indicate the full name in brackets (try to use English abbreviations or Chinese pinyin abbreviations in the title of Chinese literature); try not to use special characters and Greek letters or use less or less in the title.
