I'm Win10+MATLAB R2017a
Problem description:
Double-click the matlab icon, the icon flashes on the taskbar and then disappears. Open the task manager and finds it running in the background.
I found that many solutions were to modify environment variables on the Internet, but I modified them according to these things that could not solve the problem. After reassigning the virtual memory, it was rebooted and it was still useless.
Final solution:
I am a 64-bit system. I go to my own C:\Windows\SysWOW64 directory to find the file and copy it to...\MATLAB\R2014b\bin\win64 directory, then reopen MATLAB and discover it.
32-bit systemGo to your own C:\Windows\SysWOW32 directory and copy to...\MATLAB\R2014b\bin\win32 directory and then reopen it.
If you can’t try the online methods, uninstall and reinstall! ε=ε=ε=┏(゜キ゜;)┛
Recently, I have upgraded and started using MATLAB R2018b, but when I installed it, there were no shortcuts on the desktop. I found that it was also available in the MATLAB\R2018b\bin\win64 folder. It seems that you can also open MATLAB using this.
